wow, thats pretty good. I've heard of kids tapping pencils(regular class tests) or pointing them a certain way, Up(A), Right(B), etc. Here is an intriguing one for you though: http://www.fresnobee.com/348/story/27449.html

That's pretty true. At our school there is the magnet program, brought through the Computech Middle School program mostly which is basically the smart kids and then the rest. The P classes(the rest) are basically a joke for core classes and I can't see anybody getting a decent education from them. I think that MOST(not all) of the teachers are unmotivated and the kids are nonresponsive(vicious cycle). There are also CAHSEE prep classes(CAlifornia High School Exit Exams) which are like basic english. You take the test as a sophmore and if you fail you keep trying each year. I think I breezed through it and got 100%. I vaguely remember talking about a problem which was 4-6=? A.2, B.-2, etc. There really is not much of a middle class its either AP and honors classes or P classes. I don't know anyone who is in both unless it's a P elective.

I fixed your post for you. You reminded me of a roommate I had who steer wrestled for McNeese and wanted to go into Education but couldn't pass the "Core battery" for the NTE and tried to pay me to take it for him. :hihi:

    Of course not.

haha yeah lazy editing on my part - thanks, it was a pretty crazy fiasco. The school actually suspended them for the playoffs which was far from expected. They still won valley but I was at the basketball game the night the soccer team won valley and they were introduced between the 3rd and 4th and the opposing team starting a very distinct chant of SAT, it was great.

Oh, I don't go to either school. I just live close to those schools. I hate both of them and would just assume they both lose, cheat, and get caught.

Yeah right...here's TWO times for sure. :hihi:

How many times have I seen this scenario play out?? Can't understand why some parents don't recognize even "Good" kids (Assuming they are) still make mistakes......I did some bone head things without thinking that I was sure raised to know better.

When they get caught, own it, take the punishment, and mark it down as part of the maturation process- and hope it's never too bad to fix.

Yeah, it's just part of being a teenager. You're bound to get in trouble, you just have to make smart decisions and keep yourself out of bad situations. Being a teenage male, you're very guilty until proven innocent. I've had a lot of incidents like that. It's not fair but it's definitely a valuable lesson. It's the age where you're not young enough to get sympathy and not old enough to demand respect. I caught hell flying alone and getting delayed 20+ hours. I wasn't registered as an "unaccompanied minor"(would you want to have your hand held as you walk to your seat?) but yet I couldn't demand a customer service representative or anything. The yes sirs and no ma'ams only get you so far when it is midnight and there are a bunch of angry adults behind you.

edit: Boy, that sure was a self-pity soapbox stand, lol.
