Not one team in the top 25 Men's BB from the SEC

I like to see that we are doing well in the SEC. It has been awhile, however, is it because the conference as a whole is down?

Well, the SEC might be "down," but I think it has more to do with inconsistencies. I'd love for the team to be rewarded with a ranking, but based on how the players respond to not being ranked, I think it's a non-factor. In due time LSU will be ranked, and that's that.

 

Not being ranked might be fixin to change. Their flat burying Bama right now.

LSU isn't just winning, they've been dominating a lot of the SEC games here lately

 

Too much is being made of a possible Top 25 ranking. It'll be hard to come by anyway regardless of how LSU does in the SEC since that success willl be immediately countered by ESPN/AP talking heads yapping about how weak the conference is. These rankings don't mean nearly as much in basketball as it does in football. If LSU can buckle down in the latter half of the schedule they could conceivably get into the tournament as a middle-of-the-pack seed, which would say much more than a number given by a bunch of sports writers ever could. We'll definitely start turning some heads if the guys can go into State and UK and pull out wins.

Me and Izzy went to the game today and they flat handled Bama. I know the SEC is "down" this year, but LSU is dominating almost every opponent this year.

LSU is not a team you want to face in the tournament.

 

The NCCA tourney equals the great eqaulizer.
