    I was referring to his lineage with who his dad is. Thats why, stranger things have happened.

    the teams who draft will overlook their actual evaluations based on that?

    It is my opinion, i never said it was fact or I had a source. Its just what I believe. If I had the pick, I know who I would pick.

    its not exactly the nfl teams writing these articles, think about what could you write more about? now, the scouts might not notice the negative attention his past injuries are getting, but then some probably think, where theres smoke..........

    It's sort of apples and oranges though, isn't it? GD is a DT, Long is a DE. I don't see Long as having the girth to play DT. I do know at this point I'd be willing to take Vernon Ghoulston over Long.

    which is definitely true and I agree with what your saying, but I wasnt comparing the positions, just the draft position of who will be taken first b/t the two.:thumb:

    Big difference, that's for sure. Not sure the best place to post this since there are a few threads on the combine but I just read this and it's a good article IMO and puts things in perspective.

    Actually if he falls to 10 it wouldn't be a bad thing at all. Chances are He'd wind up with a better team. He can always up the contract at some point in the future.
