this is what, (i think it was) kincade on espn sunday was talking about. but he seemed to think that is who nd should go after in the first place. that they need to go after the guy that is moving his way up the ladder that has been a solid winner. not the already big name.

I was thinking of pooling our money together and trying to get them to hire a different coach

And you believe him.. I don't and I'll tell you why cause I know you want to hear it :hihi:

Its the perfect storm for Meyer, no matter how much people want to believe he will continue to be successful. Its just not going to stay that way at UF for too much longer. He is losing key seniors this year on both sides of the ball, mainly Tebow and Spikes. Brantely may be good, but he is unproven. Alot of schools are cutting into his recruiting now. Not to say that he doesnt have a load of talent, but as you can see from their receiver core this year, its getting somewhat thin.

But the main reason is because Notre Dame has the money. They will likely throw 6 to 8 million at this guy and pay his whatever his penalty to be to Florida.

    This is my prediction.

While I agree that he eventually will leave UF for Notre Dame, I'm not sure it will be this time. There may be one more coach in the future for the Domers before they get CUM. The deciding factor is that he still has at least one kid in High School and maybe two. Not sure. It wouldn't shock me if he does go this time though, i just don't think he will.

I think there is a very good chance he will leave. ND is going to throw the bank at him plus a bunch of incentives that will make him, by far, the highest paid coach in all of football...Pro or College. Meyer's ego could easily get the best of him.

Of course he says he is not going to leave. His team is ranked #1 with the possibility of a NC season. What is he going to say? Uh, I am seriously thinking about leaving UF for ND. He will deny like Saban, then look at his options/offers and weigh his interest monetarily and emotionally AFTER the season. This story could very well change, IMHO.
