Pitt won. Weiss said he's only focusing on next weeks game. I guess he'll be focusing on the unemployment line after that.

There seriously needs to be a rule against that disgusting idiot stuffing his fat ass into sweats for his games. I happened to catch some rather unsettling imagery during this broadcast. Seriously, have some freaking shame, dude.

I do think they won because Tebow came off the bench. Hence the term 3rd and Tebow, 4th and Tebow. What is UF's 3rd down conversion percentage since Tebow has been there? Chris Leak was the starter, but Tebow came in on 3rd and 4th and short situations. Tim Tebow was the one that beat us in 06, Chris Leak stunk it up to high hell that game.

Interesting if true. That means some fat cat boosters are prepared to write a big check.

Im hearing this from work associates who are pretty well connected at ND. The money is not an issue. ND has plenty of bank and dont need the boosters to pay the buy out. The cost is a small fraction of the TV money they have raked in the last few years.

The bigger question is how will ND handle their coaching search this time. They basically low balled Meyer last time thinking he would jump at the opportunity no questions asked. Pretty much the same way Michigan screwed up with Les. I would look for ND to be making big offers to the big fish in a very quiet way. If they get turned down by a Stoops or Meyers type candidate look for Brian Kelly at Cincy to get the hard press.

Most of the reports I've read since posting suggest the buyout is in the 5 mil vicinity. That obviously won't be a problem for the Irish.

Harbaugh would be an interesting candidate along with most of the other names mentioned. Personally, I don't see CUM being interested if approached.

Has there ever been a harder fall from grace? It seems like almost immediately after he got 10 years and 30 million that it all unraveled on him. It was always my opinion that Ty Willingham got a bad deal and shouldn't have been fired. At the same time, I can see why they gave Charlie the big deal. It looked like he was for real.

no willingham sucked. his teams looked much worse. completely lost on the field despite similar records.

weis was soon exposed too but his teams showed some semblance of organization but about as disciplined as him at a fried chicken buffet on defense.

and the buyout is around 4-5 mill supposedly as expected. so they say. no big deal.
