There is a huge 15 million dollar buyout clause in Fat Chuckie's contract, i don't see him getting canned unless he drops all 3 of his remaining games. What else is out there. Hell i think he has done ok, considering Notre Dame sucks butt holes.

Oscar Meyer takes the ND job after charlie is told to hit the bricks and here is the bombshell. Welcome to the SEC Bobby Stoops. Thats right, OU will run bobby off and he takes the florida gig after suburban bolts to south bend!!!

    Heard it here first folks.

Meyer ain't going to ND. Not anytime soon, anyway. Perhaps after ND's next unsuccessful coach, but not this time around. I know we'd all love it if he did, but it's just not going to happen.

ND will likely end up with Brian Kelly or John Gruden.

I am anxious to see what Meyer is about with no Tim Tebow. I really want to see what this offense can do with a drop back quarterback, and no big physical running backs. Spikes and Dustin Doe are the only seniors on defense i think, Dunlap will be a senior, Janoris Jenkins will be a junior, Major Wright will be a senior, Joe Haden will be a senior, Ahmad Black will be a senior, i think their whole O line will be back also, i know the Pounceys will be seniors. But what is Florida going to do in those 3rd and short and 4th and short situations without Tebow?

Talent has never been an issue for Notre Dame. The next coach that comes in after Charlie Weiss is going to be loaded. For the very same reason why they are financially successful without the need to join a conference, they are successful recruiting-wise as well. When they have a decent head coach, they'll be able to cherry pick the best recruits across the country in any state. Just take a look at the variety of hometowns on their roster for proof.

That's chump change at ND. They have more advertising pull than the entire Big Ten.

talent is always an issue at notre dame. recruiting overhyped white catholic boys from the midwest with high gpas has been the demise of most coaches there.

this aint changing. you fellas need to pay closer attention.

and florida only recruits florida? thats because thats where all the damn talent is. they would recruit elsewhere if needed.

and regarding that article. its way over the top and sounds like it may be written from a fan from a rival sec school hoping meyer departs. but there is a lot of truth to it. the sec looks to be headed to an even higher level with the outstanding coaches. tennessee, as bad as they started are definitely improving. they look well-coached and kiffin may have a future in this conference.

the writer makes a good case for urban if hes looking to go to nd at some point.

his contract is not disclosed and its unlikely its anywhere near this. 5 at the most. chump change for nd.

but hes gone if he loses another game regardless. that game may be tonight.

Yep. Meyer and Saban have been somewhat opportunistic the past couple of years as a lot of the traditionally tough teams in the conference have been transitioning (although I'm not sure that term applies to Georgia; I don't know what in the hell is going on in Athens, as they have recruited extremely well).
He pretty much has to be since he'll have the exact same winning percentage as Davie and Willingham did when they were fired. The Davie firing isn't as significant as Ty in this situation, for obvious reasons.

Look for Pitt to dominate the LOS from both sides. ND will go down hard.

Could've been true if it weren't for star recruits committing armed robbery. If that trend starts up Kiffen will be gone sooner than later too. Of course for job security all Kiffen has to do is bring his wife in with him wearing that little orange dress.

won a National Title in '06 with Chris Leak.

and if you think they won it because Tebow would come off the bench in games, then we only won in '07 because RP came off the bench for us.
