Urban would have to be crazy to take that job, as would Saban. It won't happen. How much NFL talent comes out of Indiana, and how much comes out of Fla.? What are ND admittance standards (ask Paul Hornung, too high). Job does not set up well, ND has not been a factor in 20 years.

Figure CUM wouldn't take that job until he's close to retirement.

Don't you think UF would match any amount of money that ND throws on the table, especially if he wins his 3rd national Championship in 4 years.

This is exactly what my friends and I have been talking about. As good a coach as CUM supposedly is, not sure how good he is without his stud Tebow, he could go to ND and win a NC every other year. With the weak a$$, pititful schedule as they have every year and the recruiting classes Weiss has brought in and Meyer will bring in, CUM should roll in the NCs. He will definitely be the highest paid coach by far and at ND he will be recruiting the whole nation, including FL, instead of just FL. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays at FL but wouldn't be surprised, or disappointed, if he went to ND.

Fortunately for ND they are tied in to every Jesuit Catholic High School in the country. Talent won't be a problem for the Irish

I think Urban will coach at Notre Dame. I just don't know if it will be next year. When do his kids graduate high school? I think that's a big milestone to opening the door to ND.

That quote lost all credibility with me when it said that Tennessee is about a year away from becoming a powerhouse again.

I was thinking about that, we are hard on our talent if you look at things. Tennessee has an awful QB, so does, miss st, auburn, vanderbilt, georgia, arkansas, and alabama. One thing is for sure, both of our QBs have alot of talent.
