NOLA native leads Ole Miss Linebackers; Florida player sez Kiffin a bozo

Florida offensive lineman Matt Patchan has beefed up over the summer. And he’s already having no trouble throwing his weight around.

When asked what he’d say if he ran into Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin on the street, Patchan didn’t hold back his words.
“I’ve got nothing to say to that guy. He’s a bozo,” the sophomore told The Gainesville Sun.

(Patrick) Trahan, a 6-foot-2 1/2, 235-pounder from New Orleans, said he worked out extremely hard during the summer leading up the two-a-day practices and that conditioning has allowed him to be quicker when he’s needed to make plays.

With an even faster and more in shape Trahan, the linebacking unit at Ole Miss should be one of the most improved in the Southeastern Conference this season. Joining Trahan as starters are juniors Allen Walker (6-1, 225) and Jonathan Cornell (6-1, 235), while senior Lamar Brumfield (6-0, 234) is right there with the rest of the starters from an experience standpoint.
