didnt know where to put this but I guess later on someone will start a NBA ALL STAR Thread but former Tiger Randy Livingston was named to the NBA D-League All Star game again.
Randy is the perfect example of a career "tweener" too good to not be in the league, but not good enough to succeed in the league. kinda like the guy who hits .400 in AAA ball, but .230 in pro ball.
So much for improvement in the eastern conference this season. They have 9 teams under .500, the West has only 4. Only 5.5 games separate the top team with the 10th team, the last month of the season will be very exciting and I expect to see some crazy first round matchups.
That's really funny isn't it??? It's not the same having to play in a division (central) where only one other team is playing over .500 (a team with only one good player that beat the Pistons in the playoffs) than playing in a division (southwest) that could possibly have 5 teams in the playoffs. This shouldn't even be a debate just like the SEC is the best football conference. What I found interesting was that the team with the best record in the West has a 14-13 record against western conference teams and a 20-2 record against the East. Thanks to the eastern conference that team is in first place in the west and what a coincidence that they just made a desperate trade in order to play against the big boys in the west during the playoffs.
Not just any team. The Pistons can do it. They would survive in the west and probably be the 1,2, or 3 seed every year. Clair is just mad because the Rockets have half man half season McGrady.
I just don't see the reasoning behind that. If you're not capable of beating the Cavs in a 7-game series, how can you be ahead in the standings of the Suns, Hornets, Mavs, Spurs, etc... About T-Mac, let's not forget that little ole lowly T-Mac took the almighty, overrated No. 1 seed Pistons to 7 games in a series with a bunch of scrubs playing alongside him.
If you pay attention to the NBA, you know playing against Lebron and the refs is a huge disadvantage. I know for a fact that the NBA, didnt want the Pistons and Spurs again in the Finals. Trust me, I have inside information on that. If you want to know my source I'll tell you. Also we beat the Cavs the year before in a 7 game series. The Pistons wasnt the #1 seed that year.
well let's pick this apart bogus statement by bogus statement. if YOU pay attention to the NBA, you know the Cavs are 27-20. Hardly a referee-bribing, cheating phenom. Inform me of this big conspiracy you know about, please... And the Pistons WERE the No. 1 seed that year. Want proof? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002-03_NBA_season look at those standings and tell me who had the best record in the east.
