Utah comes in at 52-26 and Dallas at 49-29. Dallas fighting to make the playoffs. Utah can finish as high as the #1 seed and as low as #7. 18-8 Dallas w/4:46 to go in the first.
they can only finish between 2nd and 4th seed too far to catch the Hornets and they can't be any lower than a 4 seed to start the playoffs since they are a division winner (per NBA rules)
I didn't realize they already clinched their divsion. The paper I was looking at only shows the entire conference as a whole. That definitely places them in the top four. They can still finish with a better record than the Hornets although it would be quite a feat. (They trail by seven at halftime.)

Wow, Jazz down 3 with and Darron Williams drives and dunks it and the foul. For some reason they called the basket no good. The Dallas announcer was shocked the basket was no good. Need to miss the free throw and get the rebound.
