TB3 is right, it's a formula. He has no more control over where teams are ranked than any BCS computer polll does.

the fact that isl wasnt updating the lakers score as it went on would lead you to believe they won. which they did.

Gasol is back. That's very bad news for the rest of the West.

Lakers now my pick to win it all. If Pau can stay healthy, of course.

To be fair he didn't look very good last night, and they need to get Bynum in now...not in a couple of weeks. Seems there are to many negative factors for them to make a run but we'll see.

    c'mon.

did you really expect him to be out for the year?

I think the Gasol injury will cost them the title. They were my pick before, but now that they're not the 1-seed, I can't see them winning a game 7 on the road.

I can see Kobe having the onions to drop 45 in a game like that, but can't see Farmar and the other, younger role players.

Whos going to be them in 7 with Gasol, Bynum and Odom?
The only team I would say is the Spurs and they are injured.

As much as I hated on them for making the move, I believe that

Nash, Amare, Shaq > Kobe, Gasol and a 75% Bynum.

Anyone catch what the Jazz did to SA tonight?

90-64 and they were up by 20 when they pulled all their starters out with 9 minutes left in the game. They showed that when Darron Williams is not scoring he can just run the offense and everyone else will make up the slack.

That is good for both of my teams. Jazz could be half game back of the Lakers for the 3 seed and a game and half from the 2 spot. Hornets now have a 1.5 game cushion. Jazz get to rest until they meet up with the Hornets on Tueday. Going to be a good one.

Lakers losing to Dallas by 11 late in the 3rd.

I haven't seen SA look that bad in a long, long, time.

How much that had to do with Utah, we'll find out in the coming weeks, I guess, but geez that was ugly.
