If the shoe fits(Travis Daniels). The difference there being if I remember right, LSU had a chance to win the SEC Championship( burned RS in championship game). This year LSU is just playing for a better win loss record and a better bowl.
LSU is playing for a 10-win season, which would be pretty big. After everything this team went through this year (offensive suckage, the meltdown), 10 wins could silence some critics, despite how poor the SEC has been this year.
I expect to see a heavy dose of #34, #10, #8, and maybe even #33. That is 4 options to go to before going to Ford. No reason to burn the redshirt. Besides, we've somehow managed to win 8 games so far without a dominant running game.
Pulling his redshirt would prove that Miles cares more about his future than Ford's. I don't expect Miles to do that and would be shocked if he did. It would also say that Miles does not feel secure in his job.
I'll tell you guys if Miles does indeed burn Ford's red shirt. I will be done with him to me that would be show more incompetence than the ole piss game could ever show. I dont think he will do it but if he does I wont be happy.
C'mon guys, with Coach Miles' splendid record, I am sure he will make the right decision based on what is best for LSU football. You are being to tough on him based on a little clock management issue that is now in the past. Lighten up. hwr
I agree. I do think it would be pointless to put him in in the last regular game, and burn his red shirt for said game, unless you definately, positively, without a doubt, NEED him to come in
