UPDATE: After being passed over by ESPN for television coverage, UCLA will not provide streaming video for this weekend's Regional so those not at the stadium will not be able to watch anything. Still trying to figure out why ESPN passed over the LA Regional, but some have speculated facilities making television production tough and a small capacity that won't look as good on TV. :cuss::cuss: EDIT: Geaux Zone will provide audio only.
mother freaking f'er! god forbid a regional get placed somewhere that can actually seat more than the parents of visiting players. and god forbid espn show one of the toughest regionals, no matter how bad the facilities look on tv. what the hell was the ncaa thinking? they do everything centered around the almighty dollar, yet give a host site so a place that is smaller than high school stadiiums in this part of the country. between that and the insanity of making fsu travel to conn as the number one seed, the committee had their heads up their asses. i hate fsu, but they got screwed.
We may be in luck. Well, at least those with access to Cox Sports. They're working on being there. *fingers crossed*
I found round trip airfare Thursday-Monday. Nonstop NOLA-LAX for $411. A couple of us are thinking real hard about it.
As cool as L.A. would be, if it gets picked up on TV, I think i'll save my money for a chance at Omaha. Let's pray for Cox Coverage
