Will each decibel increase in the crowd noise be met with a corresponding rise in Les Miles' offensive awareness? If so, scream, scream, scream... I have my doubts though. Kidding aside, the "downers" are only being mindful of the reality at hand.
You've got true talent. Somehow you found a way to morph my dislike of Les Miles' incompetence as coach into a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. You couldn't be more wrong in your assumption that I would automatically hate Miles' successor. I do not default into a state of disdain for coaches. To the contrary, I highly respect the job they do. Some do it better than others. It's obvious that your undying love for Les Miles has greatly impeded your judgement. And we ask that TigerTap be released from his state of perpetual entrancement with the almighty Les Miles.
This is at the heart of the problem I have with the Les Miles critics. He is definitely not perfect, but LSU football is fun--and it's likely to be fun as long as he's here. Because even though our offense sucks, don't be shocked if he comes out and takes it to Bama Saturday night. Many Miles critics are waiting (and waiting and waiting and waiting) to say, "I told you so." Keep on waiting.
You haven't a clue on what you're attempting to spew. Of this you can be sure, I have NEVER been one to ride the wave of any trend. My presence on the forums has been rather muted over the past couple of weeks because I have had a lot going on "in real life". Also, basing your informal diagnosis on a person's commentary within a sports forum is rather shortsighted and unrealistic. Please continue on with your baseless supposition.
No one is waiting for lsu to lose, minus a few nimrods. They are waiting for the offense to be "fun" and not feeling like a prostate exam gone wrong after watching a game. And most feel comparable even in victory. People live a lifetime during an lsu game hinging on every play. Hence the exhaustion and frustration as if they played because watching an lsu offense is considered torture and undue suffering in the lower 48 states. No one is looking at Win % after a game to delude themselves into thinking they feel great. Many are tired of witnessing the abortion known as an lsu offense and its justified. half a decade at 4+ mill per is a reasonable amount of time and money to expect a fix. Telling fans who pay their hard earned money how to feel about a perennial shitty offense is a ridiculous notion. Les gets blame for it and it's far from undue criticism. It's not impossible to be happy lsu won a game and also be upset the offense sucks. It's a weekly endeavor that's become our national identity. A team with a great d that wins in spite of its offense. Oh what should have been.
Fact: Miles is the winningest coach in LSU history and saban only had 2 10 win seasons so don't say he built it because his last year was pretty bad Fact: SEC all time wining percentage goes Neyland, Meyer, Miles, now thats impressive, i say as long as he wins and is competeing for a ntional title he stays and we as a fanbase need to support him
