Maybe if you didn't talk so funny...

I like our RBs better, and the LSU O-line has looked pretty good the last couple weeks. AJ vs Mett is big advantage UA though. I like our chances in any game, all the same. With a defense like ours, it only takes 1 play to make the difference most days.

    Years of debate with SabanFan.

I give you the depth and the Hill and Blue kid is what makes defenses stay at home and load up. Yeldon and Lacy will take it to the house with power and speed and the explosiveness of Drake is a nice security blanket. Frankly, it's like debating both defenses, both teams are going to get hurt by them. Don't know what your defensive turnover numbers are, but last year you were taking everyone's lunch money. This season, it doesn't seem as volatile. Alabama's defense is creating a lot of havoc in the turnover department.

Is lacy nicked? No pun intended. He's looked a step slow and sluggish to me. Yeldon scares me more at this point.

Hard to say, but I thought he was sluggish against Miss St. Didn't see one circle button. Yeldon is starting to take over and it's obvious he's taking on a bigger role.

Margin is not as good, though still top 10. On average the defense is taking more per game than last year (2.63 in 2012 vs. 2.14 in 2011), but the offense is giving up more (1.50 in 2012 vs. 0.71 in 2011).

    Total Turnovers Gained:

    Alabama - 23
    LSU - 21

Who'da thunk that we'd be generating more turnovers without the badger? Weird. If not for the case of fumblitis in the first few games, our margin would be on par with last year, I think.

Yeah. I had a feeling it was close, just because it seemed like we were getting a lot of turnovers, but that was the first time I had looked at the numbers. I didn't expect we would be exceeding the rate of last year. We have 9 different players with interceptions, which looks to be the difference.

A little surprised, but your defense generates a ton of pressure. And pressure can make you forget your name when it's on your jersey. Alabama's D has done the same without the Bama O returning the favor, for the most part. Short fields have kept our team running down hill most of the season. That goes a long way in explaining our margin of victory in most games.

Sport I admit nothing like that. Your gumps were better in Jan but I would have put money on the Tigers in best of 3, 5 7 or how ever many you want to play.
