Rivals radio this morning: 1. "Alabama in the National Champ game" 2. "The SEC is weak this year." 3. "Who is the second best team in the west, I mean is it Auburn, maybe Arkansas" I hope the coaching staff and players realize that they are completely being overlooked and play with a chip on their shoulder from the opening kick-off. Hell, now with Gumpland having their own national show, (Finebaum) satelite radio is becoming unbearable to listen to if you are a Tiger fan. NO RESPECT. I hope Les and his staff are pissed off as well, and are focused and committed to getting everything they can out of this team. :angryfire:angryfire
Pretty funny, i actually halfway started a thread like this because Athlon has us ranked 24th in the preseason polls, but i decided against it. I listened to Tiger Rag radio last night and the guy from Athlon said that pound for pound LSU is arguably one of the most talented teams in the country. The 2 reasons that we havent gotten any media respect going into 2010 are the schedule is brutal, and Les Miles' questionable coaching decisions, and late game debacles.

As long as 100% of our team (coaches and players) feels the same way and they DO punch someone in the mouth. Someone brought up the faces JJ makes when he makes a mistake, or a teamate makes a mistake, that has got to change, he can get in their face and let them hear what he expects, but the damn pouting pisses me off. He really needs to be somewhat of a leader this year. I am pulling for him. I also hope the O-line are pissed off and take the attitude that they own the line of scrimmage. Damn, its way too soon for me to be so fired up, I need to pace myself.
Respect has to be earned. Haven't done to much to earn it the last couple years. A few big wins and we will be back on top everyone's list.
I get that, but then why in the world would people put Arky , and Auburn higher...we have earned more than them. It's not like they won 2 national Championships in the this decade, or consistantly have one of the top recruiting classes in the country. That's what I dont get......I guess that is my point, I want the team and coaches to feel the same way and feel slighted to the point it pisses them off.
