No one to share excitement with here in Arkansas I can not believe all of the good things happening to LSU! I try to talk to my friends here in Arkansas, but they believe the wrong teams will be playing in the championship game. I moved here 6 years ago, and had a good attitude about the Hogs( as long as not playing the tigers ) but that feeling has changed. Love this board, keeps us ole tiger fans in good spirits. Thanks arkgeauxtigers
:champs: Those razorbacks are a weird bunch anyway. Just strange. I was talking to some of them yesterday in Monroe and of course they wanted to crow about their victory over us, which is understandable. I of course reminded them who the SEC Champs were, to which they wanted to say how they whipped our @ss. My reply was that since we had whipped their @ss the last 5 years in a row, I guess they were due one. They didn't have much to say after that. Their win over us was the only highlight of thier season. Anyway I kinda feel sorry for them. You've got to feel sorry for a bunch of people who think a squealin' pig is a great thing!! Geaux Tigers in the NC Game!!!!:geauxtige
:geaux: Have no idea, but who cares!! Does anyone know if Crowton is still being named as a candidate? Saw a report that Michigan's DC Ron (?) English interviewed for the Suey's job. Any others?:champs:
My ex-son-in-law had my 4 y/o grandaughter for thanksgiving (in Arkansas)and sent her home (to MS) in a pink and white Hog jersey..... damn thing is getting dyed PURPLE and then I'm taking gold glitter fabric paint and writing TIGER BAIT on it and sending it back to him. Revenge is mine sayeth Mike VI.
Wow, living in Ohio. That's awful. Does anything noteworthy go on there besides football? My ex lived in Iowa and I've not found anything awesome there either. Living in the South, ANYWHERE, is better than the Midwest that I experienced. (and I'm only talking about the experiences I had) Is there any good food there besides brats?:geaux:
Ohio really isn't as "mid-westy" as you people would have you believe it is. There are A LOT of people here, and therefore really quite a bit to do. Especially here in Cleveland. Sandusky, home of the famous Cedar Point amusement park is only a 40 minute drive away from my apartment. Cleveland is really 15 minutes away, where there is tons to do. And as far as football goes...they love it. ESPECIALLY here in Cleveland with the Browns. Baseball is second, and believe it or not even with Lebron, the Cavs come third. The food is pretty good. I don't really enjoy some of the cultural foods such as stuffed cabbage, but there are certainly some good eats. I don't know if you follow the show Iron Chef on the Food Network or not, but the most recent winner is actually from Cleveland. I have yet to make it out to his restaurant he has here, but I hear good things. And there is always rock 'n' roll. Like they say "Cleveland rocks!"
