You are just splitting Hairs, You know what I meant - No need for an EXPLOSIVE Offense

I guess I better start elaborating again! :rolleye33:

    Thank You!

Does Anybody Remember the 2001 Baltimore Ravens winning a SB with Trent Dilfer at QB, They didnt just win, They Smashed 34-7...Giving up only 158 total yards on offense!

    ITS POSSIBLE NEGATIGERS!!!!!!!

that's all great and everything, but we have to expect our offense to be able to stay on the field and sustain drives. If we don't move the ball, our defense stays on the field, and then a great team will just bury us in the 4th, kind of like what we did to Vandy and MSU.

I am optimistic however, and if he doesn't turn the ball over, turns turnovers into points. and gets in the endzone when we make it to the redzone, and we sustain long drives, we should be in every game this year.

First of All That was the UNC Game - LONG GONE
Second of All - How can you put up HUGE numbers when start all your drives at mid-field due to GREAT D & Special Teams

We only Punted 1 Freaking Time Guys!!!

Our Offense NEEDS work We all know that, But they got it done...29-7 Period!

That I agree with. We only punted ONCE

Lets be realistics, Our O is not great, maybe not good. But are they good enough to support our D & Special Teams to a championship season rather than Our D & Special teams supporting the O

If we Score TD's instead of FG's we would be blowing folks out too! And We would have blow out State who is not all that bad....

LSU_4_LIFE - I don't think I've seen the message board this positive in a long time.

But you're posting like everyone here is hanging their heads and giving up on the season.

You OK? People are just talkin' football, brother.

If you ask me, the conversation is about how a good football team can become great. That's a pretty positive conversation....

I guess I am mis-reading some of the post, I got kind of heated with the first response calling me idiotic.

    Sorry.

I'm essentially saying what LaSalle said....

I'm trying to look at the big picture, I'm not talking about the MSU game only. We aren't going to have the benefit of that kind of field position in every game and the offense is going to have keep the defense off the field or we will be subject to what happened against UNC.

Even though we had a short field, the offense sputtered at times. It's a concern. You can have the best defense in the country but they can't be on the field nearly a whole quarter without rest.
