Just checked the moderation logs. For the record, you have had two posts deleted. Both were in a thread you created concerning firing Les Miles. At this time, none of your posts have been edited.
:geaux: Oh, so everyone who disagree's with you is an idiot with Gestapo tendencies? That's interesting. More likely you are just pi$$ed off because Sabanfan pointed out inconsistencies in your posts, in that you supported Miles in some posts then turned around and crapped on him in others. Sabanfan pointed that out, very effectively I might add, and I agreed with him. In response you sull -up, get defensive and call people names. Very childish in my opinion. Take Nutriaitch's advice in that if someone doesn't agree with you, post a rebuttal. If your skin is so thin that you can't take someone disagreeing with you, maybe you should find another outlet for your opinions. Better yet, grow up. :LSU231:
well i really don't know what you're talking about but if you hate that stuff so much why post here? also, i'd like to add that i've been completely banned from the other board so it happens everywhere.
i was really only hoping for someone who the sec hasn't figured out yet. that's all. i remember how it went with crowton and pellini, but the longer this goes the more it concerns me. it seems like everyone has forgotten about last year when miles waited too damn long to do anything about dc and then had to stick with these co-dcs. he needs to get it done and get it done now.
:geaux: We can only hope that there's a deal done already and that's it's just all being kept under wraps. Could it be Chavis since he hasn't made a move yet? I'd be happy with that. Could also be a scenario someone posted earlier that it's someone who's still coaching a bowl team and has accepted but doesn't want it known. That opens up a myriad of scenarios. Maybe that's where the "attack DC" comes from. I'm just hoping it's a case of "secrecy" and not inaction. :LSU231:
I really believe that he intended to go with these guys all along unless something really substantial popped up. He said quite often if I remember, that he felt it was an advantage to keep continuity with the number of returning players on that side of the ball. I am sure Pelini gave a vote of confidence as well. On one hand I see the logic in that. On the other hand it scares me for two reasons: 1. He did not see that this scheme was becoming played out. 2. That he really favors this Big 12 style D. I believe he will make a change, I am just curious to see what kind of coach and scheme he goes with. Anything will be an improvement.
If you're referring to the changed title of your Peveto thread, I think it was more of an update seeing as they probably didn't want 2 threads up contradicting each other on the board. You had your "source" and another later came up. The thread was updated. That's how I saw it anyway. Pretty constructive. This too. Your best yet. Buffoon... good word. Meh. My point is, you obviously have a different view of what the phrase 'constructive feedback' is than the majority of folks on this forum. The mods are actually pretty tolerant to peoples' rants most of the time, but I doubt seriously you spend enough time around here to realize that. If they (the mods) make you that upset and pissed off, I suggest you find some other forum to visit or else find a more tactful way to express your obvious disdain for Coach Miles. Glad I could help.
Look inward and explore the possibility that you might just be a miserable &$*#. Red is a moderator here and he hates me yet I don't think I've had something deleted or been banned yet. You should probably be over at that other site where the members seem more your age and of the same mentality. Of course you probably got banned from there too.
I wish I could believe that VK was not given an offer; but I don't think Grad would post something he did not believe to be true. I think we tried to hire VK and we got turned down and beat out by K State. I fear now that there will be no changes at all.
Miles has more riding on this than any of us do. If we got "beat out" by K-state there was nothing we could do. You can't buy an emotional tie to a school. If we did get "beat out" it wasn't because of money or prestige or recruiting or anything else other than that's his alma mater.
