Tirk ,when I was a teenager I had a pretty significant ocd problem. It would make that character Monk on the USA network look like the the poster child for mental health. So here is an example of how it would go all week leading up to an LSU game.I am walking along and happen to step on a rock.I would think i stepped on the rock "incorrectly".and immediately I would think ...If i dont go back and step on that rock "correctly" LSU will lose this weekend.Occasionally, i would just say ...the hell with that i am not going back to step on that damn rock again. Now ,if I did everything correctly all week ,it did not insure a win,but if I said to hell with and didn't do it....we LOST ,everytime ...no matter who we played...Rice ,Tulane,MOO u, whoever...no matter how weak the opponent.I guess i grew out of this cause i don't do anything except during games now...but I am reminded of that quote in bull durham "if you believe you are playing well because you are wearing women's underwear are because you aren't gettin laid, then you are. So ,far all those tiger fans doing their many strange rituals before or during games that help us to victory...Knock yourself out
Very good Mike...I also plan to wear my cap (one with a great deal of mileage on it I might add) they've won "2" national championships with during the game...Hope theres still some magic in it...:tigereye:
This shirt news is the best I've heard in a while. For some odd reason it comforts me and leads me to believe we will win.
i pretty much had the same thing. had to count all sorts of things. didnt know it was ocd as I dont think there was a name for it. had to be odd/even, all sorts of weird stuff. road trips were rough. but on gamedays everything is a must. the woman must stay in the kitchen if suddenly things go well. that means however long it takes. or the people outside smoking; stay til darkness, I dont care but you cant come back in. sit in a certain spot; dont get up til something bad happens. you know the drill.
Awesome. Except - does it have to be PANSIES? Can't you plant purple and gold Peruvian Gator Bane or something?
not always cooking just turns out its always a female. and if something good happens, she stays. heels, whatever.
Ah, a dog, perhaps? You know very well that the females on this forum would NOT be in the kitchen for a game. No way, babe.
I got a shirt i've been wearing since right before '03 championship. As long as I wear it to the gym once a week everything is okay. It's worked every week. I went out of town against Arkansas last year.. forgot to pack it. Against UK I let my girlfriend stay home because she was sick.. :angryfire I'm feeling pretty confident as long as everyone has their mojo flowing. My animals have to be placed correctly too. If we throw a pick/fumble they're going outside and staying there.
sometimes, depends how bad friday night went. yeah you would when you were getting us a beer like you're supposed to.
