I read on another forum where two different posters were nuzzled up with a horse that had an officer on it and told, "One more time and you'll be arrested" after the guys had yelled "Tiger Bait" to some Hog fans. Anyone know anything about this?
I didn't hear about this, but if its true all I can say is I'm glad I have connections. If they start arresting ppl for screaming tiger bait I hope I have a nice cell mate until my boss bails me out.
I would love for them to arrest me for shouting "Tiger Bait". I would own the BRPD. Then I could start building my empire and take over the world.
Well you know how the "Improper lane usage" becomes DUI. The guy said that he did, in fact, respectfully ask what he had done and the officer told him "disturbing the peace by public drunkeness." He said he'd only had 4 beers and hadn't shouted any profanities with it.
I've got respect for our law enforcement around here because they go out and do the job to keep us safe. That said, if a cop ever threatens me with jailtime for yelling "tigerbait!" on campus I swear I'll turn to him and yell that last one his way... how rediculous.
I was thinking it was something along the lines of public drunkeness and not so much 'tiger bait'. Still sucks though. Some cops are just douches.
i volunteer to be the test case, only if y'all agree in advance to have bail money and a pro-bono attorney ready. :grin: i don't drink so no way they can charge me with public drunkeness.
