looks like Dmac played his final college game against the LSU Tigers in November. http://arkansasmatters.com/content/fulltext/?sid=4df89549a400c35726c80c6b0f6f84ef&cid=63635 Seems he ordered his Caddy Escalade a little early...should've waited for the draft, man!:nope:
I doubt he gets to play in the Cotton Bowl. That's a great disservice to his teammates. Sad to see. I would have thought DMac had his screwed on a litter better than that.
He is driving a new Escalade and it is in his mom's name. They are questioning if he is eligilble for the bowl.
Like with our players, I will wait for the facts before passing judgement. I have heard that some car dealerships are willing to give loans based on a college player's potential income in the pros. It could be something like that, were it's not exactly on the up and up but still "legal". Also, I am biased. My nephew lived in the same dorm as RunDMC his first two years at Arkie, and said he was one of the most nicest and down-to-earth of the football players.
... and talks of a possible agent helping McFadden negotiate the price of the Escalade at the dealership. The agent says it is all lies, he is not representing DMac, and he is not an offically registered agent.
It isn't hard to get a loan for a car. I know plenty of broke people, even bankrupt people, driving caddies and BMWs. I don't think McFadden's mom needs a sports agent to buy a ridiculous vehicle she can't afford. People buy cars they can't afford all the time.
yeah... considering he said before the season started that he was going to go pro, I wouldn't be too surprised.
What's 'WOW' about it? My first reaction is it's no big deal and just a rumor and he'll play... but who knows what will happen
