is this station even attainable in the BR area? this is the one in donaldsonville or white castle or wherever so im guessing not. so im sure streaming is new technology to them.
Talked with the station mgr. yesterday, this station can be caught streaming. They will let you know how to get it once they startup. Ok, an easy on the White Castle Jokes....... :rofl:
that sucks. i used to like condon. songy was so bad and illiterate i kinda felt sad for him. i bet condon is pretty smart and normal when not doing the radio persona.
It was management issues and much cheaper to run a gospel channel. Think it was gospel before and just reverted back.
was a labor cost thing. condon and possibly jordy were salaried. the others paid for their time slots. so now you pipe in music for practically nothing with no labor costs. pretty sure they just want to break even. i think the article said condons salary was 46% of all labor costs of their entire network of stations of like 5 or 6, but only 3% of their revenue. just a bunch of suits looking at numbers and making decisions based on that. yet they hold onto condon only. i guess he gets numbers. i was hoping jordy would get brought over to 104.5. doesnt look like it.
I was thinking just the opposite but I only heard Condon once or twice before he disappeared of the airwaves. I was trying to figure out what the heck happened when they had that Fox sports show or whatever it was that took his place. What was so funny about this is they repeated the same show a few times about Jerry West's book. I was thinking what the hell is this?:rofl: I didn't think Buddy was that bad and I did enjoy Jimmy's show. I didn't care really, it was LSU related which I enjoy and helped pass my day while I was working or out and about. Love the ole ball coach Pete Cordelli also not to mention the Dale Brown, Paul Dietzel interviews, etc. The music wasn't that bad either!
