Just found out that they canceled 1210 the score. What a great time to do that a week before the BCS and Saints starting the playoffs. Evidently people making these decisions not well informed.

Well that stinks, for those of us who strayed from the nest I used to stream that everyday to get my local news and sports.
As they say in Boston. Wicked Pissa....

Yea all of the host and employees got an email at 12:01am of the new year saying they were out of a job. I am sure that wasn't how they wanted to start the new year. Christian/gospel radio now.

Gospel! I can't believe that gospel is going to bring in more listeners. And, the week of the NC game. Jeez.

A lot of people don't like the local radio guys, but i listened a lot.

Chris Landry was the only redeeming talent on that station. I never understood how they made money in the first place when they're playing songs during commercial breaks, but taking up 20 minutes of an hour-long show with on-air plugs. Then you have Moscona's show on 104.5 going head to head with Condon rambling incoherently for 3 hours every day, and it's a no-brainer who I'd rather listen to.

It's all about ratings and revenue. The station owners were obviously not pleased with either.

I have no idea? But I understand why the station owners would make a change in format if they were losing money with sports talk.

Try WIST 690 AM out of New Orleans. It has local sports good mix of Saints Lsu and Hornets. Brian Ali Walsh (sp) used to be a writer for the Times Picyuane has a show from 7-9 am. Tim Brando out of Atlanta from 9-11 and the Sports Hangover with Larry Hoolder and Gus Kattengill (local show) from 11-2pm. Gus uased to be sideline reporter for the Saints game on WWL radio

I disagree. I think Ott was well spoken and had a decent show. I hope 104.5 picks up Landry and Ott. Now Songy on the other hand.....
