Washington scored a TD w/ 2 seconds left in the game to get within 1 point of BYU, but BYU blocked the extra point and won it 28-27. Added: Turns out there was more to this. QB Locker was fired up that he scored and threw the ball up in the air (underhanded toss, not like a pass) and was flagged 15 yards for excessive celebration. BYU blocked a 35 yard extra point attempt. East Carolina still looking great, beating West Virginia 24-3 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd.
ECU is still up 24-3 on WVU with about 10 minutes to go in the game, and they are putting on a clinic on stopping the spread option. The first guy is making the tackle just about every time, and their offense is chewing up the clock keeping the WVU offense on the sideline. absolutely outstanding by ECU.
Alabama beat Tulane 20-6 ULM was beating Arkansas 27-14. It's now 27-21 w/ 4:38 left. Arkansas is driving w/ about 2:30 to play, down to ULM's 42. 4th and less than a yard, Arkansas is at ULM's 31. I heard a Cowherd promo yesterday morning and he had WVU in the NC game because ECU was their biggest test and they'd coast to an undefeated season. Don't they play Auburn?
