It is a big story because a black man died, in public, surrounded by many with phones, but it holds true for any man.
Legally it doesn’t matter what he was on if the coroner found that Chauvin actions led to his death. Same as if you run a red light and t-bone a car killing the driver. It doesn’t matter if he was dead drunk as long as he was properly in the intersection. You killed him and are liable both criminally and civilly. You have to take your victim as you find him if your actions lead to his death.
i will remember that next time i do fentanyl and meth and have covid and have a history of reprehensible crime and use counterfeit cash

There is a severe cultural problem within that community. You know with whites, you see a broad spectrum. The reason we don’t run around saying white power all the time is because we, as a race, have moved beyond race. We could get into specifics but it is quite easy to see the difference on a broad scale. This is the biggest difference among us. I also think they are pretty far behind in this regard as a race on a global scale.
your first sentence is most important. Despite what happened in the past, anyone can be anyone today (if you can separate the chain that keeps you in the past) Biden's little speech this evening after the verdict will only feed into the false idea that we are only limited into what we are born into. That the federal govt will pave a path for people. People pave their own paths on their own accord. The best have.
