    There's a bunch of big DE's in the NFL like Shaun Ellis, Will Smith, Julius Peppers, and Mario Williams who is also an OLB for Houston.. all are 280+

    this is an article recruits would appreciate. i'd like to please ask you, is there any way you could insert nick saban's name in place of les miles in ANY part of this article and say, 'yea, that's the coach saban i know'? HELL NO! with saban it's about military regimen and intimidation from start to finish. while discipline is a huge part of the game, it can be accomplished in more than one way. clm, the staff and players truly feel more like family because of the atmosphere established under OUR coach. this way also breeds success. he's proven it year in, year out.

    I don't think you want your 4-3 DE to be close to 300 lbs. You want agility and quickness at the position. At 300, he clearly moves to DT.

    I wouldn't want him anywhere north of 270.

    I don't really disagree but there are rare exceptions and I don't know if it's realistic to expect a big guy like Edwards to get down to anywhere near 270. Don't see how he wouldn't be moved inside. Jeez can you imagine Edwards and freak inside? Serious.
