He's decided alright, he decided he likes the attention. He'll waste a season sorting through his ego and attitude.
I better not hear a single person here bash him because he is waiting past signing day, because everyone here was all for it when Keiland and RJF did it in LSU's favor.
I don't know. I watched him on ESPNU yesterday and I didn't see an attention whore at all. He sounded sincere and like he was really feeling the pressure. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he is a very confused young man under LOTS of pressure. Wherever he chooses, I'll look forward to seeing him in action.
OK, I might be wrong. Not all players who delay do it for the same reasons. I haven't seen the kid in an interview but about 3,000 other kids didn't have a problem getting things done yesterday.
No question. His high school coach said he played 5 basketball games in 7 days.. can you imagine making the biggest decision of your life when everyone wants you and having all of that on your plate? What's wrong with him waiting? He seemed timid yesterday talking and just very uncertain. Pryor did not strike mas a someone who wanted the spotlight on him forever and ever, but rather that he wanted to make the right choice and it was still unclear to him.
Bottom line...NSD only means that it is the first day that they can sign an LOI. He is firmly within his rights to wait until he is sure.:thumb: See Noel Devine last year...in addition to KW and RJF. I'm certain he isn't the only one...he's just the highest profile one.
In fact, kids can enroll and play without EVER signing the darn thing. We have an incoming frosh who is enrolled for the spring semester and obviously he doesn't need to state his intentions. I don't think JUCO kids sign one either.
If he were waiting to sign to take a visit to LSU, everyone who is complaining would be kissing his rear end. Its a big descision that will affect the rest of his life, he should make sure on it and explore all the options he has.
