no one is denying he is a good coach, all im saying is that LSU vaulted Nick Saban to what he is today. LSU has always been LSU. In case you didnt know, LSU didnt start playing football in 2000. This program was alot better than as you like to put it, "a team struggling to find a winning record" in every decade since the 30's with the exception of the 50's which we won a national championship in, and the 90's (95-97 were good seasons) including a dismantling of a Nick Saban coached team in 95. I know all you people out there still have a huge man crush on nick but he was not the next coming of Vince Lombardi, im sorry, and i think you guys are the ones that need to deal with it and get over it.
I fixed it for you and yes he did. not even sure what that means. they were a crappy team for almost a decade and people were more interested in basketball and baseball than football. thats how bad it was. still doesnt change the fact LSU sucked and nicky played a huge part in changing it. nothing to do with a crush. most dislike him as a person yet can put aside the bitterness to recognize hes an excellent coach. nothing you say can change history or present. Nor detract what he did for this program. to deny it just makes you look silly and jaded.
dat ain't me. i wouldn't say i liked it if it was. it's scott somebody, don't know the identity, maybe people more in the know than i am know who it is. supposedly it's an ex media member in baton rouge.
Very brave of you to doing that..........:thumb: Smart! I would hate to be his staff when he is not happy, not to mention any day with the daily operations........tension filled environment.:dis:
Aside from the run-on sentences, that was a fantastic article with a great perspective. After all, who knows the real Saban better than Tiger fans?
that because it was discussed already. not my fault you cant use the search function after 7 years. you already get a pass on pictures. (joking it was deep in the rueben randle thread and i simply made a comment on it) here was my contribution: Quote: It amazes me that John Brady was here 12 years and couldn't find a point guard, and Trent Johnson is here less than one year and finds one on Brady's bench.
