Im glad he and Bama lost. I loved it all. That said, I dont blame him for going for it on 4th and short. If you cant make a single yard then you really dont deserve to win. That recruiting trail will get a lot harder if Malzahn turns AU into a consistent championship contender and Nick finally gets some in-state competition. Faced with the prospect of losing his monopoly, starting over with a new QB, and facing the wrath of Gump nation for possibly getting left out in the cold in the NC race, he may yet take the Texas job if it's offered.
