    According to the USA Today article linked later, its the 5th. Even Reagan has vetoed a defense bill.

    Exactly. It only about Obama to you when it is a far more complex issue.

    The bloated defense budget is a bigger threat to your government pension than Obama. The waste at DoD is huge at every level and you know this better than anybody. It can't keep going up. All this veto does is keep the sequestration in place to keep the spenders honest. Republicans want to cut spending only where THEY want spending cut, which is where their money is. Sequestration makes spending cuts everywhere in government, which is where their mouth is.
