i have no idea what youre talking about 99% of the time. probably because youre so hung up on bama and saban, your actual argument makes no sense. just like here. i dont pull for bama. why would i bring up anything about them. i didnt mention any other school. ill just go back to pretending youre not completely insane realizing im just kidding myself. no
I'd add to the short list of quality pocket passers Philip Rivers, Ben Rothlisberger, and Matt Stafford.. only Stafford was drafted in the past 10 years, though. Arguable passers would be Tannehill and Dalton, but I''m not gonna make that argument. (Oddly Rivers/Eli/Ben all went in the same 2004 draft..)
Yep, over ten years ago. Seem like those guys should just grow on trees? Guess you could add a couple to the list. But with all the colleges turning out QB's every year, NFL teams are finding it harder to find that QB. Of the top 12 QB's from last years draft, only 4 really made some impact. You can put Mett in that list. Season on the practice squad, injury, overmatched, raw, struggled, and did not play are some of the descriptions use to describe their first season in the NFL.
To refocus, why don't we talk about HS QBs who go on to win college NCs, rather than college QBs who may or may not have had college success, and then mature in the NFL to be good NFL QBs? I mean if OSU, ALA, FSU, FLA or whomever win NCs, but their QBs don't get to the NFL, those teams still won NCs and that is what we should care about.
No, not everybody, just the people you agree with. How naive of you to expect me to go along with the flock of sheep. I have my own brain.
You are the one that said that. Don't make up shit and attribute it to me. I speak very plainly for myself.
Only the alzheimer patients, old feller . . . I've been lobbying for a emoticon for years, but @BRETT dislikes smileys.
