who will tote it 40+ times in the snow for the Pats?

I think the Pats have a better running game, but the Colts passing game far exceeds the difference, considering this will be Cassel's first postseason.

But it does help that both teams will have to win it playing on the road and Pats are far more capable of winning in elements than Indy.

    It's really close.

No. You cant have a guy that might play sit on the bench. Im sure they have someone else they can franchise. I'd let him walk and not make some cute move. The Pats dont get fancy and dont care what others do. Thats why they are successful.

not even if Brady has to miss 5-6 games in 2009?

I think with a defense as old as theirs, they can't afford to have a throwaway year.

I probably wouldn't franchise him either, just because that's expensive as heck, but I would surely try to spend top dollar on the best backup on the market, whomever that may be.

I'm still not sold 100% on Cassell. I think he's a product of NE.

Anyone remember Rob Johnson? Tommy Maddox?

I am very surprised no one voted for an NFC team, if for no other reason than because imo the top-2 seeds in the NFC are far more capable of being beaten than the top 2 in the AFC.
