You know my vote. Or do you? I voted for the Colts. 2 of these will win their divisions, I know, but it's still fun to speculate, considering the superbowl champ seems to almost always be a wildcard these days.
I got Philly beating Dallas and Tampa winning. NFC South gets 3 teams into the playoffs, the East only 1. I have the Falcons winning the division and having a bye week. I have Baltimore getting the other wildcard and New England winning the division after the Jets beat the Dolphins (but I sure as hell hope not). I got San Diego winning the West. Total collapse by Denver.
The Saints are where they belong -- in front of a TV. And I have to say, the Pats look good right now, too. They dropping 40+ on people regularly again with a career backup (sorry, Izzy. :hihi at QB.
I don't know who brought it up 1st, but I def have been on board the Cassel to Minnesota or Chicago bandwagon. I think I started that thread. I would think he is overrated if he weren't getting progressively better. That leads me to believe the struggles at the beginning of the season were just rust from not having played . . . ever.
I agree with that. I guess overrated isnt the best word, but I think these heads that talk about trading Brady for picks are absolutely insane...that's where he is overrated. Cassell could help a team like Cleveland, Minnesota, etc. Im just curious to see how he is going to do outside of a spread-based offense.
would you franchise Cassel for the 1-year deal just in case Brady isn't Brady no more? Because one can argue the ACL has killed Carson Palmer. Granted, I know it's been a lot of other injuries, too, but still. At the very best, it takes them a long time to return to their peak.
Pats Colts Ravens It was hard picking the Pats over the Colts, but the Colts have no running game. It's all on Manning.
