I would have said Colston if he didn't get hurt. At this point it is between Bush and Hester. You have to look at which rookie makes the biggest impact on the team. If I had to pick I would go with Hester after what I saw last night

Hester is quite a dilemna for voters. He's a DB and special teams return man. He hasn't really done anything to warrant defensive votes, and his return game doesn't necessarily equate to getting him offensive votes.

I think he has to be considered, I just don't know if he will be.

Colston needs to have 1 more monster game (165 yards, 1 TD) to get people back on his bandwagon. His injury really took a lot out of him regarding this award. Payton may baby him along these next 3 weeks, which means he won't get the stats necessary.

Vince Young just needs to lead his team to 2 more wins and a 8-8 record and I think he will win it.

If Bush has 3 huge games like he has the last 2, then he will sneak up and possibly take it as well. He has a legit shot at 100 catches, and an outside shot at 1000 yds receiving (needs to average 7 catches, 104 yards per)

Only other possibility is Jones-Drew. Again, if he has 3 more huge games down the stretch, then he is way up there as well.

I think those are the 4 that have the best shot (maybe the only shot).

They base those awards over the regular season. Playoff performance has no bearing on it.

    Offense:

Colston if he has another good game or two. If not, V. Young, who trumps Colston if the Titans win one or two more, regardless of Colston's comeback.

    Defense:

    Demeco Ryans or AJ Hawk.

MARK Anderson could get some consideration, but he's a situational pass rusher on a loaded defense, so it's tough to say just how good of a a season he's really had.
