How can you have NE ranked that high when they layed a goose egg in Miami? I think they should be ranked 10 moving the jags, boys, and hawks up one spot.

Dolphins are playing damn good ball lately, so its misleading to think they lost to a bad team today. They didn't.

I could drop the Colts down about 3 or 4 more spots for the goose egg they laid today as well. But that would be silly.

I try to set my rankings based on whom I think could beat whom on a neutral field given the current injuries, quality of play as of late, weaknesses being exposed, etc.

So basically I don't think the Saints would beat either the Ravens or Chargers on a neutral field. I was really tempted to have the Saints in a tie with the Ravens, but I just think the Ravens D is too dominant and they deserved the #2 spot all to their lonesome.

I am just impressed that the Saints are #3 on anyones power rankings...

I gotta feeling im gonna love football the next few weeks!!!

Usually by this time of the year I am stoked about the LSU bowl game and hoping the Saints win a few to get to 500 to give us hope for next year.

Yes, Santa, KK's been a good boy this year!!!

Ok, apparently you can't kick the ball off to Hester under any circumstance.

Duly noted (Payton writing on a napkin).

Grossman looked good enough to keep his job. Nothing outstanding, couple of really nice throws for the touchdowns, not much else to report. Best news is Lovie will be forced to go with him the rest of the way as it's gonna be too late to get Griese involved. So that's great news for the rest of the NFC (and AFC for that matter).

Only thing I fear is the potentially brutal weather in Chicago come playoff time. Damn you mother nature, damn you.
