Wow, The NFL is truly turned into an awful league. I have watched pro and college football all of my life. No one knows what a catch really is, same can be said for targeting or helmet to helmet. If Bernard was a wide receiver that would have been hitting a defenseless receiver, that was helmet to helmet btw, it was a head blow! I could go on and on. Yes, the Bengals stunk it up but some of these calls were also ridiculous. After watching the NFL all year there is very little consistency to their calls. The fans have no idea what the calls are because the referees certainly don't know. No wonder the announcers have are in contact with a former referee in the booth during the game.
Bernard had the ball in his hands both feet on the ground and was squared up to a defender, Brown was in the air when Burfict hit him. Big difference. But I agree, the NFL has a serious problem.
