Of course thats what they will tell you. They are scared shytless that you will go to a dish.

Looks like their plan is working on some of their customers.

Charter thought they were calling my bluff when I told them I was switching to the dish. 3 years later, I still love my satellite.

one of my favorite channels. I think i was the first person ever to watch it. :hihi: :hihi:

but cmon, can they hire someone for the nfl gameday show before and after games? Rich Eisen, Mooch and prime time are trying to fill so much time with nothing to say its freaking painful.

its like watching the jerry lewis telethon at 4 am with no guests. Deion is pretty horrible too.

hire some people for the love of god. its painful.

You are right they could battle with the NFL longer than expected. I was assuming it was true because when I asked about the On Demand and ESPNU channels they gave me a fairly accurate time frame. Hope these greedy Cox Bastards get their $hit straight.:dis:

I switched from cable to satellite 6 years ago and tv has never been better!
No more cable companies for me, EVER!
    I can't believe they don't have ESPNU?

For all the people with satellite....

Who do you use for high speed internet?

Can you get DSL/Cable internet without having a home phone/cable?

not sure, I have DSL, but I have a home phone.
I know a guy who has satellite internet, and he's somewhat satisfied. It's just tough to play some online games that rguire quick reflexes, because the ping rate is rather slow. But upload, download times aren't too bad.

I have comcast cable for internet.
It is more expensive than having everything through Comcast though.
