Ali looked even slower then that. He looked bad. Also he was the first LB to drop the pass in I guess it'd be called the "interception" drill
Ali Highsmith obviously was jogging because he didnt want the other guys to feel bad... Seriously, he's going to run a better 40 time at his pro day. You can see that he ran a 4.29 shuttle on the NFL.com website. The rule of thumb is that you add 0.3 seconds to your shuttle for your estimated 40 yard dash. If you look at the shuttle list, you will see the rest of the LBers listed fall into that range in the shuttle. There isn't a person on the face of this earth that can run a 4.29 20 yd shuttle and a 5.0/40 yd dash. Something is wrong. I didn't see Ali run, but something was obviously off. The timer starts when a player moves. Perhaps Ali's technique set the timer off before he was really running? Regardless of what was actually recorded, a 4.29 shuttle and a 5.0/40 just don't match up. There has to be an explanation somewhere in there and anyone who watches gametape of Ali Highsmith is going to lean to the 4.29 shuttle being the more accurate of the two times.
hey, i can beat that. maybe i couldve been a great LB for the NC Tigers. seriously, i dont get it. even with a bad start his time wouldnt be that bad. then again, green-ellis is a pretty good RB and he ran close to that.
If he had a banged up ankle, he's an idiot for running. His agent should have stopped him. He needs to fire his agent and bust his tail to erase the memories of the scouts. He would have been better off going into the draft with no public 40 yards dash time and game tape only. He just cost himself a couple million dollars already...
These combine reports crack me up .... During the college fotoball season, all you hear about is "SEC Speed". Well, we won the SEC. Then, leading up to the BCSNCG, all you heard about was how well tOSU was going to match up with our speed, and how well would we match up with their size. Well, I believe we won both of those battles. Now all of the sudden, Dorsey, Steltz, Highsmith, Doucet, and C. Jackson have all hurt their draft status in some kind of way. Also, Hester is reportedly a late-round draft pick. Sounds like a large dose of HATER-AID to me. I wouldn't dare question Dorsey's work ethic, or how physical Steltz is, or how many plays Doucet will make, or if Chevis Jackson can cover. And who wouldn't want a blue-collar work-horse like Hester on their roster? The guys writing these reports must not have seen any game film on our Tigers. I'm not sure how that's possible. We were only on TV 9 or 10 times this year. Stop Hating! "Have a great day!" :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
the dozens and dozens of people who posted on here saying that we should take away carries from hester and give them to Keiland (pre-Florida game)?
