I've seen his injury referred to as a shoulder injury. I don't recall many details being released. EDIT: Senior Bowl spokesman Vic Knight said last week that Steltz, who suffered a stinger to his right shoulder in the Tigers’ 38-24 victory over Ohio State in the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 7, might still make the trip to meet with the hundreds of NFL coaches and scouts who have assembled here. http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/lsu/13962257.html
Dorsey will not work out at the NFL combine. Per rivals.... http://lsu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=777370 INDIANAPOLIS – LSU senior defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, whose grandmother died in the past month, has decided to work out at his Pro Day on March 26 rather than here at the NFL Combine. He had gotten behind a few weeks in his training because of the death in the family and felt it was in his best interest to take a few more weeks to get in the best shape possible. Dorsey will be full go for the March 26 on-campus workout, according to agent Joel Segal.
The Times Picayune had an article on Dorsey this morning – LINK The NFL finally got around to adding Steltz’s profile, so hopefully that means he will be there. LSU Players - LINK
I know Dorsey has legit reasons, but I bet he wishes he went to the Senior Bowl now. He is in real to inevitable danger of falling behind Long and Ellis, especially if they have good weeks.
If you don’t have access to the NFL Network, you can watch the combine online… http://www.nfl.com/combine/live - NFL Combine, Five live streams from workouts available Saturday, Feb. 23 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. – Workouts: Kickers, Offensive Linemen and Tight Ends Sunday, Feb. 24 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. – Workouts: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs Monday, Feb. 25 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. – Workouts: Linebackers, Defensive Lineman Tuesday, Feb. 26 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. – Workouts: Defensive Backs
No way Dorsey falls behind any DT that is a rediculous idea. Dorsey will be the first D line drafted.
