I think I'm going to go up there and sell beer outside to only Eagles and Giants fans. I want those lunatics to be so drunk in the background that if a McNabb type pick is made again they run up there and tackle him.

The Times Pic had a story about this a few months ago. The NFL is under contract 3 year contract with Radio City I'm not sure if they have one or two years left.

Why not? The commish is serious about having a SUPER BOWL in London, but they can't move the draft around the U.S. That would be B.S.

I do not see why the draft couldn't move...if I am not mistaken, the draft is on a JAZZ FEST weekend...that would bring huge amounts of revenue to the city/state if that is so.

I see no reason why (if marketed properly) N.O. couldn't do a great job hosting the draft for a few years.

I don't see it leaving NY. It's part of the prestige of the draft, just like the NASCAR award ceremony at the end of the season is in NY(which is not a big NASCAR market at all). And Goodell would be crucified if he had a SUPERBOWL outside the US (too much money will be sent overseas).

Yep, I agree on both points.

Keep in mind the volume of marketing that goes on that weekend. The top picks are paraded around Madison Avenue and the image is that the NFL is kind of taking over the greatest city in the country. I don't see any legit reason to mess with that.

A Super Bowl outside the US in the short or medium term is an impossibly silly discussion. Between international ambivalence, time zone challenges, and the uproar from Americans, it's just goofy. Also, Keep in mind that the SB is a huge bargaining chip for owners working to get new stadiums.
