I think sometimes with the recent success the Saints have had the fans become a little to complacent. At this point a few fans expect and almost take for granted that the Saints will make the playoffs. Actually this is a very big game. Beating Tampa Bay would give us a 2 game lead in the division. We need this win because we need to win our division first. I know I am guilty of looking ahead, I admit it. I already find myself routing against the Packers and Detroit because they are undefeated NFC teams and I want the Saints to have home field advantage in the playoffs. But first things first, we need to win this game. Of course I will be pulling against the Dirty Birds. I still love the line out of that commercial, "Dirty Bird can't fly with a broken wing".:D

I would say that the NFC South right now, with this loss to Tampa, belongs to no particular team and is up for grabs. As a Saints fan, I would say that the Saints will win the Division. As a student of football, I would say that the Panthers are the only team out of the NFC South race.

    SAINTS 9-3
    Falcons 7-5
    Bucs 4-8
    Panthers 4-8

The Bucs and Panthers have been eliminated from contention. The Saints have all but locked up the South.

If the Saints win all four: Division Champs
If the Saints win three: Division Champs
If the Saints win two: Atlanta will need to lose 1 of 4

If the Saints beat Atlanta none of the other games will matter: Division Champs
