I figured I would put anything related to the NFC South here. Bucs playing hard ball to get back on top. Couple that with DarkHornet's concern they could take Vilma from us because of their large cap space. Does this lessen their chance to get Vilma now that they signed Winslow? I would think it does.
Re: Winslow to Buccaneers Couple of picks. Nothing in the first round I am guessing. Somewhere third on. My understanding is this is better for the Browns. Not a lot of love lost in Cleveland. Dunno, must have been the 9 mil he earned on the bench after doing wheelies in a parking lot. Then a staff infection for the same. But he is a solja.
Re: Winslow to Buccaneers They also signed Bryant to a 1 year 10 million dollar contract. Ouch. Good luck with him continuing to develop. Too much money for my liking.
Re: Winslow to Buccaneers Now I really want the Saints to pursue a hard-hitting Safety. I would love to see "Soldier Boy" get his head knocked off!
Looks like the Bucs are making a run at Jay Cutler. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation/0-6-6/Bucs-need-to-go-out-and-land-Cutler.html
I just don't see that happening even with them getting the Bucs 1st round pick just seems like that would set them back by losing their starting QB. But it all depends on if they like one of the QBs in the draft. The craziest scenerio I could think of is a three team deal with the Lions where the Bucs get Jay Cutler, Broncos get Detroit's 1st Pick of the DRAFT taking Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions getting the Broncos 12th pick and Bucs 19th pick giving them 3 first round picks(12,19,20).
Bucs and Clayton reach an agreement. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/01/buccaneers-reach-agreement-with-clayton/
