JJ a seasoned vet next year yes, a good QB who knows. QB will be a big question mark going into next season as will be the offensive line.
If Miles goes 9-3 next regular season and we fire him, we deserve 10 3-9 seasons in a row. You guys need to get a grip. We've had 2 national championships in the past 7 years. Jesus.
That is NOT what happened. There is a whole thread on this . . . it was the waether. It happens whenever it gets cold. The crowd was lively and supportive and not sending messages. I don't see the quarterback issues going away. If Jefferson, Lee, or Shepard had the stuff to be an ALL-SEC quarterback, we'd know it by now. Still, we should be better in 2010.
The two most important positions on the field are still in flux. When we have answers about the OL and DL, then we can predict rosy things about next year. With the lines we have returning, I just don't see how anyone can predict that we will be better than 10-3 or 9-4. If the lines get better, we could do better. If not, we will do about the same or worse (and we can bitch and moan and Miles will be on the hot seat in 2011).
You're right about the two most important positions being in flux you just got one of the positions wrong. Should be the OL and the QB. The DL should be much improved next year, lots of young very talented guys will be pushing for playing time. Plus we should have a right DE that plays both the pass and the rush.
LSU's Offense should be much better, only thing we lose on offense is our EXPERENCED power running game, ford should step in and take that, ridley reminds me of addai for some reason so mix sheppard in and our running game is GREAT RB = Ridley, Sheppard, Ford, Murphy QB should be much more experenced QB = JJ, Green, JLee(if no transfer) , Z Lee if no baseball draft WR Laffel gone but he did drop alot of passes WR = Tolliver, Sheppard, Randell, mabee murphy only problem to make a run next year is our SCHEDULE to play in the NC we would have to win the SEC and have no more than 1 loss ALABAMA will be the team to beat, looks like FLA will lose alot of players this year so the east wont be too much of a problem in the SEC championship its all about beating alabama next year to play in the SEC champ game
More experienced yes, better who knows. Also we lose two OL from an already poor line. Will the line be better? Will the play calling improve? Waaaaaay too early to predict a better offense for next year. I definitely hope it is much improved, but nothing points towards a definite or even probable improvement.
this. we do have a tough schedule next season with UNC and WVU. we play florida away, but we get BAMA and Ole Miss at home. Auburn is going to be a HUGE game next season, and don't we play tennessee?
