This is Perrilloux's 4th year coming up. People probably forget that. And he is tested, against Tennessee. He passed with flying colors, earning the MVP award and helped LSU win a national championship because of it. He will spread the field much more than Flynn, opening up the running game that much more.
This is going to also sound cooky. I think we may have a slightly sronger team next year. I know we have holes particularly in defense, but we have some awesome talent to fill in. I can see Perilloux going nuts on defenses as soon as the team is completely his. Our OC showed what he can do. An excellent DC, and it's geax time for the MNC next year. If not, that's okay too. I can take a slightly off year...BUT not too off.
I have a feeling that UGA will flake out next year. They are running on all these high emotions thinking they were the best team in the nation. They may get full of themselves and allow Florida to once again take advantage of them.
I am not sold on Georgia just yet. They played a division III school in the Sugar Bowl. They beat a Kentucky team that was on a downward spiral at Georgia, and struggled for much of the game to pull away.
Thing I wanna know is, when if ever will we get the big mouths from SOCAL on the schedule? I think the last SEC school they played was maybe "Aub"? And I think Auburn lost that game. If I remember correctly, it came early in the season, and I think Aub had to travel to them. Man with all the hype about SOCAL vs LSU you would have thought someone would have worked that out. I'd love to see them face the Tigers on a Sat night Tiger Stadium, and in front of the Tiger Nation.!:thumb:
Go take a look at Georgia's schedule for next year ... Aug 30 home vs Ga Southern Sept 6 home vs Central Mich Sept 13 at S Carolina Sept 20 at Arizona St Sept 27 Home vs Bama Oct 11 home vs Tennessee Oct 18 home vs Vandy Oct 25 at LSU - 2007 BCS National Champs Nov 1 at Jacksonville, FL vs Florida Nov 8 at Kentucky Nov 15 at Auburn Nov 29 home vs Ga Tech No way they run the tables. I don't even see them being in the Top 5 with this schedule. :crystal: :geaux: :crystal: :geaux: :crystal:
The last SEC team to play SOCAL was R-Kansas first game of 06. SOCAL killed them. Then R-kansas went on a run til we crushed there hopes.:crystal: :crystal: :crystal: :geauxtige
