    What do you think

Gunner Kiel of Columbus (Ind.) East, the nation’s top quarterback prospect, attended Friday’s LSU-Arkansas game on an unofficial visit with his family.

He and his parents returned to campus for an official visit Tuesday,

Would you advise this young man to come to LSU or another school if he wants to play college football ?
    I would advise him to

I'd tell him to go where he wants, and if LSU is that school then...
We all know Miles plays those who gives his team the best chance to win, if the kid is that good, he'll play.

I'd tell him to go to Boise State for a shot at the MAACO Bowl.

Lesticles has used a dual QB system due to the fact that for the last 5 seasons, that is what we have had talent wise. I feel very strongly that given one QB to step forward and play better than the others, he would revert to a single QB system in a skinny minute. I think our Offense under JL the first 8 games is the type of Offense he prefers. I do not believe he prefers a running QB at all. I think he views JJ as our best QB and he is more of a running/athletic QB, so we adapt the Offense when he is in the game to fit that. But deep down, I think Miles desires Mett as a single system QB, managing the game, passing for 225-250 yds a game and stretching the field vertically, while allowing our running game to be bullies. I think speculation that he prefers a two QB system is crap.......... it is all he has had to work with the last two seasons. Hell, IF Zach Lee does not go play baseball, I suspect we would not be talking much about JJ or JL.

It'll be just like in 2007. Flynn was the CLEAR starter but it's good to mix it up and throw in RP to run some options so that Flynn wouldn't get hurt. Next year, Mett will be the starter and getting Randall PT will be good for him. Playing RP throughout the 2007 season helped prepare him when Flynn got hurt and he played great in the SEC CG against Tennessee.

If randall can pass for 250 yards a game and mett can't then play Randall. If mett can pass for the yards then play him. Play the qb that can give us a real passing attack to go with our run game. I don't care if it's mett, Randall, rivers or whoever. Just pass the ball down the field. 250 is the benchmark to reach. The qb that can do that routinely without turning the ball over should be the qb no matter what his name is.

I say we make Russell Shepard starting quarterback, move Mett to tight end, put Rivers and Randall at receiver positions, and move Rube to defense. Honey badger can run the wild badger and hand off to Freak and Faulk.
