Les Miles says he is quite happy with the linebacking corps, especially the starters.

    His main concern is punter.

    that's not a bad problem.

    Although punting is real important.

I think they will strengthen that up.

The TP indicated that Jarvis Jones ran with the first unit at right tackle with Barksdale backing him up. The rest of the line was the same as last year.

I think McCray has the physical tools to cover, it's his decision making that was a problem on most of the big plays he got burned on. He didn't realize he was supposed to cover a guy until it was too late and he got there real late. The big reception by Hillis on 4th down for Arkie was the most glaring example IMO. If he is lined up head to hear with a guy at the line of scrimmage then he'd know who he was supposed to cover.

I thought Alexander was back? And I'm suprised to see Al Woods ahead of Drake Nevis.

God, our LB depth is scary (not in a good way). We have a Safety who just switched to the position, a true freshman, and a walk-on as our primary back-ups.

I disagree. McCray lacks the hips & body control to be a CB or even a great nickelback. He's a true Safety.

Reports are that Charles Alexander went through some of the drills with the defensive linemen. Jacob Cutrera did not go through all of the drills.

Also funny, I read somewhere that CLM is not worried about our crop of LBs....dunno

btw...keep in mind that RJF and TH arent listed on that chart either since they are both at track
