I hope to go. I found the perfect place to stay. I went to the rangers/yankees game this past sunday and stayed at omni hotel in las colinas. $100 for 2 beds. unreal hotel. easily a 5 star hotel. It's about 15 miles from the stadium. no traffic whatsoever in las colinas. i can't wait to go back there.

just checked their site. all rooms are booked for super bowl. :(
    but...for sept 2-4...4 people...1 room is
    $143 per night....but nonrefundable
$160 per night if you want to be able to get a refund if you can't make it.
the room is great and the city (las colinas) is extremely clean. plus, there is a hooters (grapevine) just 11 miles away. :)

That's fine if you just want to go to the game and back to the hotel but there isn't much around Las Colinas but office buildings, residential areas and a few chain restaurants.

Most of the good restaurants and nightlife are in the Uptown or the Knox-Henderson areas. Stay away from downtown Dallas. It's pretty much void of anything outside of business hours other than a few super douchey techno clubs.

Fort Worth also has a really cool laid back downtown area and the stockyards are worth a trip too.
