COACHES: HC Robbie Caldwell; Asst HC Bruce Fowler; OC Jimmy Kiser; DC Jamie Bryant. LAST YEAR: 2-9 (Rice, W. Carolina) LAST GAME: Loss to Northwestern (Big 10) 23-21. (0-1, 0-0) RETURNING STARTERS: Offense 6, Defense 5 ALL SEC PLAYERS (Phil Steele): LB Chris Marve (2nd Team) ALL SEC PLAYERS (Lindy's): RB Warren Norman (2nd Team, All Purpose) PLAYERS TO WATCH: LB Chris Marve - tied for 1st in SEC with 12 tackles; 2nd in SEC in 2009 with 58. STRENGTHS: ?Experienced Coaches? - 7 (cough, wheeze) of 11 coaches have been on the staff together for 9 years. I guess that could be a strength. RBs are decent (Warren Norman, Zach Stacy) WEAKNESSES: Not a fair question. I'll go with lost 11/22 starters, 4/5 on OL, QB (Larry Smith) had 4-7 TD-INT last year. SHORT 'N SWEET BOTTOM LINE: Vandy is dangerous if LSU lets them hang around with mistakes (like last week). The talent differential is ridiculously in LSU's favor. I see LSU getting 6 sacks, 2 interceptions, and a big night for Jordan Jefferson and the WRs. SURPRISE EVENT: Michael Ford's coming out party!
We need a dominant win next week. I mean at least 6 offensive td's and hopefully a couple on defense and special teams. Les needs to put his foot on gas and run up the score board, f*ck anybody who calls us out for doing it! Its sure as hell alot better than getting called for struggling and showing our weaknesses Because week 3.......Say what you want about Arky & Aub.....Miss St is NO JOKE!
