Let's talk speed! A. Will LSU air the ball out more? Who will do the airing? Jefferson, Lee, Metbgr or Rivers? B. Maybe they just ground and pound. If so who gets the bulk? Could Ware return to form? Is he the fastest RB? C. Will the D have any matchup problems with Bama or Ga?
So you only expect Jefferson to throw the ball 16 times total in the next 2 games? I disagree I think we will see close to 40 pass attempts combined in the next 2 games. You got to switch it up son.
A. LSU does tend to throw more in bowl games. Clearly Jefferson will be the one airing it out. B. In the SEC championship, maybe. We might see Hilliard get the bulk again. Ware could return to form, but who knows. Also, he is nowhere near the fastest RB. He's arguably the slowest. C. The D won't have matchup problems
IMO Ford and Hilliard are the best backs. Blue is definitely fast but he need to allow the holes to open up, a little to fast. JMO
A. JJ tends to underthrow the ball. With the faster surface I hope he puts a little more on the ball to avoid INTs. Nobody gets in the game until the last two minutes even if we're down. B. Pound, pound, pound! Georgia may be good against the run but LSU knows they have more depth and will want to wear them down like eveybody else. I have no idea who gets the majority of touches. Only Miles knows who/what/when/where/how. C. After 12 games there's a lot of film on LSU. Saban and Richt are working overtime trying to find a weakness or a way to catch LSU off guard. The intangible is LSU has more playmakers than anyone. We can give up yards and then compensate with one huge play. Short of a mistake or a trick...good luck scoring much on this D.
astroturf pretty much doesn't exist any more in big domes. Man that sh!t was terrible. edit: oops, misread the title. What the hell is afro-turf?
I thought it was astro turf but wasn't quite sure. I would think that the NAACP would be screaming if it was called Afro turf.
